Allowing yourself to take breaks during study sessions not only allows your mind to rest but also sets designated focus time and end to your session so you’re not trying to study for hours on end, encouraging you to maximize the time you do spend studying!

Emma Blunck is currently enrolled at Arizona State University Online, majoring in Mass Communications and Media Studies with a focus on Media Literacy and is the Editor-in-Chief of the Spark Newsletter (online newsletter). Emma is wrapping up her final semester of her undergraduate degree as a fall intern at Rock the Vote- getting to blend her degree with her passion for advocacy. Her education journey has been messy but it’s been perfect for her! She’s happy to represent the students who don’t necessarily fall into the traditional high school to college category- her higher education journey included going straight from high school to university and having to drop out halfway through the semester, attending community college for a year before leaving for an internship, and finishing off strong on an accelerated track as a Fully Online Student.
