College, for many, is a time of growth and maintining relationships as you and those close to you become different people can be difficult. Sometimes you’ll drift away and other times you’ll remain in touch just not as often as before, that’s okay. Did you remain close to your high school friends or did you grow distant?

Yumna Samie attended ASU all of their undergraduate career and will be attending UMass Amherst for grad school starting in the fall. For their Undergrad, Yumna double majored in English and Communication and for their Graduate degree, they will be focusing on Learning, Media, and Technology. During their undergrad, they participated in the communication and public speaking mentoring lab, CommLabASU and currently works in academic publishing at SAGE publishing, as a Product Associate. Yumna is a first-generation student and their educational path involved going to a 4-year institution after high school.
