There’s plenty of different paths you can take that can be closely related or very different to what you got your degree in. In Andre’s case, his major and career aligned pretty closely together, having earned a math degree and becoming a math teacher then going back to graduate school to further his education in mathematics. Andre Rouhani has attended The Johns Hopkins University and is currently at Arizona State University working as a math teacher and pursuing a PhD in Mathematics Education. He has been part of an a cappella singing group and Baha’i club! Andre’s higher education journey involved going from High School to 4-Year Institution and being a Returning Student.
