Before becoming a successful writer, and host of Crash Course: Black American History, Clint was a high school soccer player, trying to figure out his future after being displaced by hurricane Katrina. In the midst of uncertainty, he chose Davidson College, where he honed his love for spoken word poetry and journalism. Clint’s college journey shows how following where your intellectual energy wants to go is much more fulfilling than going down the “practical” path.
